Greenville Middle School recently launched its “Be Kind Movement” to encourage students to respect each other and be kind towards one another. As part of this movement, we met with each grade level to discuss our “expectations for kindness” and to give shout outs to those students and staff members who have been demonstrating acts of kindness around the school, as well as exhibiting our PBIS PRIDE behavior expectations on a regular basis. (PRIDE = Positivity, Respect, Improvement, Determination, and Excellence)
Check out these pics from our first 6th Grade Kindness Conference during which we celebrated our outstanding 6th graders and their teachers!!! Students who were nominated by teachers/staff members received a hand-written shout-out card and candy!
Special shout out to our 6th Grade Students of the Month for September: Tykirraonna Harris and Dustin Long!!! Great job students!
