Field Trip to World of Coca-Cola
Greenville Middle School students in the Morehouse Educational Talent Search Program had an opportunity to visit the World of CocaCola Museum in Atlanta, GA on December 3rd . After the students and staff were greeted with a complimentary ice-cold beverage, they were able to see a CocaCola folk art bottle display that features bottles created for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games. CocaCola invited several artists from around the world to
express their country’s unique culture and artistic traditions by decorating their own CocaCola bottle sculptures. Afterwards, students were also able to get a “sneak peek” video featuring some highlights of the World of CocaCola experience. Greenville Middle School students were able to explore exhibits and learn everything there was to experience at the World of CocaCola. They enjoyed tasting the different Coca-Cola products from Asia, Europe, Africa, and North America. Then they went to visit Morehouse College where they had lunch. We want to thank Mr. Marshall Troup, Associate Director of Morehouse College TRIO Programs and Mr. William Jenkins, Recruitment Specialist, for funding this field trip experience for our students.
