Mr. McKoy, 8th Grade Math Teacher, helped arrange a field trip to the Georgia Aquarium for all 8th graders during the month of February. While at the aquarium, students were able to see aquatic life from around the world – from the tiny clown fish to the great whale shark. They were also able to see otters, penguins, starfish, and a variety of other sea animals. Students were heard saying that this was an awesome field trip, and that they had a great time. Many students did not seem to want to leave the aquarium. One highlight during the 8th grade trip to mention was that students were pulled from the audience to dance and spin with a dolphin during the dolphin show. Those students were asked if they would go again, and the students shouted “yes!”
