GMHS Students Teach Class on Digital Learning and Social Media
Greenville Middle High School students came in to school on a Saturday to teach local ministers and local community leaders a class on Digital Learning and Social Media. The students wrote up their own lessons plans and facilitated the class. The adults were most impressed with our students as they engaged everyone with lessons on Twitter, Facebook, Snap Chat, and Instagram. The students explained what social media was all about and how these tools reach the masses in a short period of time. These social media outlets can help market anything because it saves individuals time and money. The students shared the benefits of having the social media outlets and how they could be used at job sites, churches, and for personal use. They also shared the dangers or pitfalls of using social media outlets. Then the students shared with the group the 10 different ways they could use their Smartphones more effectively. We want to thank our amazing students for demonstrating some great leadership skills!
