Meriwether County Spelling Bee

On Wednesday, February 7, 2018, Greenville Middle High School hosted the second round of the Meriwether County Spelling Bee. Finalists from Mountain View Elementary School, Unity Elementary School, George E. Washington Elementary School, Manchester Middle School, and Greenville Middle School competed against each other for a chance to represent Meriwether County as the system finalist in the statewide GAE Spelling Bee. We are so very proud of the amazing job these students did and how well they represented each of their schools.

Congratulations to our system winner, Trey Johnson, from Manchester Middle School and our system runner up, Cortney Murrah, from Greenville Middle School. Both of these students will represent Meriwether County in the statewide GAE Spelling Bee in March.
